Connecting cultures, creating friendships!

From 3rd to 28th August 2026, Dwi Emas International School and Sri Emas International School welcomed 103 students from China and South Korea for four weeks of learning, cultural exchange and new friendships through the Student Cultural Exposure Programme (SCEP).

More than experiencing life at an international school in Malaysia, SCEP gives visiting students the opportunity to learn alongside their peers, experience the Malaysian culture and build meaningful connections across multiple backgrounds. This August, 88 students joined Dwi Emas — 62 from China and 26 from South Korea — while 15 students from China joined Sri Emas.

The exchange also brought the world into our schools, giving our own students the chance to connect with international peers without having to leave Malaysia. Through shared classrooms experiences, students built confidence, broadened their perspectives and formed friendships across cultures.
